Activities of International Parish Work in Finland announced on this blog are based mainly in South-West of Finland ( roughly the area of the Lutheran Archdiocese of Turku ).

This blog will provide information (in ecumenical spirit!) of Christian activies offered by the Lutheran, Orthodox, Anglican and Pentecostal Churches active in our area.

Many of our activities are a fruit of Porvoo Agreement (1996). Under the Porvoo Agreement, the Nordic and Baltic Lutheran Churches and the Anglican Churches of Britain and Ireland are in communion with each other, and called ‘to share a common life in mission and service’.

You are welcome to join a Bible study group, the Fellowship group, to participate in the music ministry or in the reading of Scripture during the service, and to stick around after the service for coffee and conversation.  You are also welcome to simply attend the service, worship God with us and be refreshed in your spirit.
